This is my solution to Bezold effect assignment.

Octopus. Seven letter word assignment. Got some pretty good feed back so I’m happy with it.

This was a PAIN to get right. But its a pretty cool color excersise

This was actually quite a bit harder than I was expecting. I just kept getting the same grey no matter how much white I added.

This is the sound map. I found this one to be harder than the others assignments so far.

Group jack and jill

 

This was my groups jack and jill peice. A few people said they did not like the font on some of the 8X8s. Tough turkey.

texture assignment

Finding textures that did not have patterns was a bit harder than i thought. i ended up no being able to use about 75% of my original rubbings. I am happy with this piece .

 

 

 

 

People seemed to like this one. So did I.

 

I like this piece. During critiques a few people said that they had wished that It had a more imaginary feel to it, with altered trees n’ such. I agree that it would have been a bit truer to the story but at the same time I like the contrast of imaginary with  reality.  Was fun to make.
